Learning all about the project before the actual project!

This project was assigned and created in about less than a month, in my Ideation and Prototyping class over at NYU Tandon.

Why am I building?

Written in the previous page, my project was to create a prototype of a task management app designed for college students.

Who am I building for?

The main audience for this mobile app is college students. Between balancing classes, extracurriculars, and part-time jobs, Students (like me) need a new app that caters specifically to our busy schedules.

When/Where will it be used?

Cool Tasks is a mobile app, designed to be used whenever and wherever the user needs to jot down a quick task so they don’t forget it in the future.

What am I building?

Cool Tasks is an app that solves the problem of college students needing a place to keep all their tasks and to-dos throughout their day. The main goals of Cool Tasks are: have the ability to add tasks with a due date and be able to complete a task whenever, sort the tasks by class or by another category, and allow notifications for each task.

How are we building this?

I built multiple wireframes and prototypes that grew in fidelity, starting off with paper wireframes that grew into hi-fi clickable prototypes, transitioning from paper and pen lo-fi, to clickable Figma prototypes.
